The Hummingbird Workflow is based on a modular system. We believe most preroll automation sucks and is too expensive for small business entrepreneurs.  At Hummingbird Preroll Systems, we’re here to help you perfect your workflow.

As former preroll operators, we designed the Hummingbird PR1 & Finisher 2.0 to be simple and easy to operate. The Finisher 2.0, our newest product in the Hummingbird family,  can dutch crown 120 prerolls in 5 minutes.

Our products are designed to scale with your business. Below are ROI calculations based on a single user on the Hummingbird PR1 and Finisher 2.0.

With one trained operator, on the Hummingbird PR1 you can expect to produce 2,200–2,700 fully hand-twisted or folded pre-rolls per shift. Using both the Hummingbird PR1 & Finisher 2.0, you can expect to produce 5000+ dutch crowned prerolls per shift.

To calculate your labor cost per pre-roll (post grind / pre-packaged), divide your daily labor cost by your pre-roll output (e.g., 2,500 pre-rolls). With experience and a few of our accessories, this output can increase to ~3,000 pre-rolls per 8 hour shift using the Hummingbird PR1 alone.

Your labor cost is based on your local hourly rates; for example, we model Oakland daily wages at $200 per day. At 2500 or 5000 finished prerolls, your average labor cost per preroll post grind / pre packaged is ~$0.08 or 0.04 per pre-roll, respectively.  If you are in a lower hourly wage area, your labor cost per preroll would be lower.

The cost of the HB1 is $15K. For a limited time, the cost of The Package is $25K.

Payback period using only the Hummingbird is 16.2  days or ~40.5K prerolls. Incorporating our Finisher 2.0 and payback is even higher at 13 days or 67 Prerolls.

Of note, comparing our pre-rolls to vibratory-based manufacturing is apples to oranges. The quality of pre-rolls made by centrifugal force rivals some of the best hand-crafted pre-rolls in the world. Knockbox ROI is based on industry best practices.
